DEB- ID mandatory for taking admission in ODL/Online programme of IGNOU
As per the directions of University Grant Commission (UGC), DEB ID is mandatory for learner who wishes to enroll in an ODL/ Online programme of IGNOU. DEB ID is a unique
number, and a learner needs to create it only once. Learners must provide correct Name, Gmail id, mobile number, gender, Aadhar Card number while creating ABC/ DEB ID. The
process for creation of DEB ID is done in two steps: creating ABC ID on abc.gov.in followed by creating DEB ID. For creating DEB ID, the learner has to create first ABC ID. For that the
learner must visit abc.gov.in of Ministry of Education, Government of India. The learner can use either mobile number or Aadhar Number for creating the ABC ID. Please keep your DEB
ID ready at the time of filling up your online application for admission. The application shall be submitted only after validation of your DEB ID. Please provide the same email/mobile in
