Invitation to Register for KAPILA-Kalam IPR Awareness Training Program

The Patent Facilitation Unit at NCIDE, IGNOU, in collaboration with MoE's Innovation Cell (MIC) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), is organizing a KAPILA-Kalam IPR Awareness Training Program for IGNOU students and alumni on August 6th and 7th, 2025. The program will be conducted online, and the training program will consist of two levels: Basic and Advanced, conducted over two days. It will cover the following topics:
Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), types of IPR, their importance in academia and startups, and the patent filing process in India.
Patentability and prior art searches, drafting and prosecution, patent databases and landscape analysis, as well as IP commercialization and international systems.All interested students and alumni of IGNOU will have to fill the Google Form to participate in the program. To get the Google Form, all learers are requested to mail at rcportblair@ignou.ac.in with the subject: KAPILA-Kalam IPR Awareness Training Program, mentioning Name, Enrollment Number and Programme.
