ASSIGNMENT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES (TMA) FOR LEARNERS


1. At your LSC, Submit hand written assignment responses only. Photo Copy/ Printouts will not be evaluated.

2. Write your Enrollment number & programme/Course Code on top of each page.

3. Normally, each course assignment may have 1500 words or ten A4 pages (maximum 5 or 6 A4 papers only)

4. Assignments are to be submitted before applying for the Term-end Exams. It is a prerequisite for the exam.

5. Supplement the answers (15-25%) with your personal knowledge/experiences. It will fetch you higher scores.

6. Write on both sides of ruled A4 sheets with only left margin; No need of right, top & bottom margin space.

7. Like exam answer sheets, use only simple cotton thread (tag) to tie papers. Do not use binding/spiral binding/plastic covers/plastic stick etc. which may reduce your scores significantly.

8. Get acknowledgement slip for assignments submission (during each time of submission), & cross check with assignment codes submitted by you.

9. Collect back your evaluated assignments within 3 or 4 months from the date of submission. You will know your grade/marks along with evaluator’s (tutor) comments.  

10. Check your assignment marks uploaded in status available at www.ignou.ac.in ;  If not uploaded in the website kindly visit your Study Centre immediately.
