IGNOU updates E-mail ID of Students

To enhance both the speed and  the quantity of communication, the Indira Gandhi National Open University Regional Centre Port Blair is in the process of updating the Email ID of Students in its database.  Although all students have provided their mobile phone number in the Admission Application form, a sizable number of students have not mentioned the email ID.  Some of the students have wrongly mentioned the internet shop's email ID. During this lockdown period, the e-communications from Regional Centre  are frequently being sent to different groups from 51000 plus students of ANI. Thus, IGNOU students are advised to mail their email address to rcportblair@ignou.ac.in with details of enrolment number, name, father's name, program of study etc.  It is also informed to learners that a large number of email ids of learners are bouncing. Therefore students are either advised to clear their mail inbox or provide alternate email ids to the mail id provided. In this regard, the RC has already sent SMS to students concerned.
