IGNOU links Librarians with Automation

Now a days all the libraries are moving towards digital operation. To professionally upgrade the in-service Librarians, there is a need to educate in the field of Library Automation and Networking. To facilitate the working Librarians and aspiring Librarians, the Indira Gandhi National Open University provides one year Post Graduate Diploma in Library Automation and Networking (PGDLAN), besides, Master of Library and Information Sciences and Bachelor of Library and Information Sciences. The PGDLAN aims at developing the professional competencies of the library and information professionals, in an automated and networked environment.
