IGNOU educate Students through 'Selfee-Standees

To constructively use the habit of selfee-photo, the Indira Gandhi National Open University Regional Centre Port Blair has developed the concept of self-educating banners on standees.  The important last dates - for Assignments Submission, Exam Fee Payment, Re-registration Fee Payment - are tabulated with Ven diagram on a standee. It is kept at the entrance of reception counter at ground floor.  Students are encouraged to take selfee-photo along with standee, to save in their mobile phone. Through this process, students are educated and inducted about IGNOU procedures. Six different banner standees are kept for similar purposes : Calendar of Activities, Academic Activities, Payment Activities, Guidelines to prepare Quality Assignments, Are You a Self-learner?, Saturday Video-Class.
